Four students swim in a lap lane with a coach assisting.

Overview:

30-minute lesson for up to 4 students | $135 per lesson

Group Lessons is for students aged 5 and older who have completed a New Student package with SwimGuru and have shown independence in the pool and harbor strong problem-solving skills.

Each group lesson focuses on the four strokes of swimming: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Students will develop an understanding of how to share a lane and swim laps with others. Each group has its own personalized goals and benchmarks to strive toward during their lessons.

Enrollment:

Group Lessons are booked using our self-service scheduling system as appointments. Families will create their own groups of up to four students and coordinate scheduling, payments, and reminders amongst themselves. It is recommended that the students be of similar age and skill level to promote an effective learning environment. Each lesson will be charged the full $135, regardless of how many students attend.

How it works:

One student will purchase the “Private Group Lesson” credit which will then be used to schedule a "Private Group Lesson” service. Only one student will be officially enrolled in the class while up to four may attend. Group Lessons will be offered at North Seattle LA Fitness (SLF), Lynnwood LA Fitness (LLF), and Fall City (FAL).

Families can choose how they want to structure their schedules so that it works for their entire group. We do not guarantee a recurring lesson time to allow flexibility of timing. Please remember that only the officially enrolled student will receive an automated reminder email and all appointments are subject to our regular cancellation policy.

Enrollment Restrictions:

Enrollment for Group Lessons is restricted by using “belts” in WellnessLiving. Coaches give swimmers belts when they can adequately perform a task on a consistent basis. Group Lesson enrollment requires the “Clothing Experience” and “Swim + Side-Glide” belts. If you are unable to enroll or do not see the belts on your swimmer’s profile, talk to their coach at their next lesson.
