Prior to beginning a New Student package, parents with crawling babies may be interested in SwimTots, our class designed to help children adjust to the water with the added comfort of a familiar adult. It sets a fun and pleasant tone for swimming with a gentle, playful routine. Toddlers should begin private lessons with caregiver participation as needed as soon as they are walking.
SwimTots is offered as a package of four private 30-minute sessions for one child, 8 months to 2.5 years old, with a parent or caregiver. These classes are scheduled as regular appointments to fit your needs. All children must wear a snug disposable swim diaper with a cloth swim diaper over it. Children in this age range (even newly potty-trained) may feel the urge to go when they enter the water. Wearing two snugly-fitting swim diapers (not regular diapers) contains any bowel movements that may happen.
The price includes a one-time registration fee and complimentary scheduling service, along with a wet suit and goggles for the child.
